Junior ETL Developer - Active Top Secret is Required

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified  candidates (US Citizens  with active ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance - a requirement on its  sub contract with work share on a Project with a Major Prime)  for the following position for a federal agency.
Title: ETL Developer   - Junior Level  - Active TS required
Compensation: to max of $150k/yr based on experience, qualifications and certifications with std benefits
Clearance: Active TOP SECRET required
# of Positions: Four (4) positions available
LOCATION: Washington, DC (onsite work, no remote work allowed)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Develop, manage, maintain, and evaluate state-of-the-art extraction, translation and loading tools and methodologies.
  • Evaluate their ability to efficiently translate and load enterprise data sources within common data model architecture.
  • Determine potential and actual data ingest and export bottlenecks and propose recommendations for their elimination;
  • Assist in the formulation of data ingest processes; and
  • 5-6 years of information technology experience
  • 5-6 years of experience with Extract, Translate and Load software experience translating between multiple file formats using scripting languages, ETL tools and methodologies;
  • 1+ years of experience with extract transform and loads in Informatica Software  -DESIRABLE
  • any experience with Informatica software is highly desired
  • Multiple Information Technology certifications in provisioning technologies such as SQL, Java, Oracle, Hadoop - Desirable
Government Requirements
Clearance - must have an Active TOP SECRET clearance and undergo background investigation and a drug test
Citizenship - Must be a US Citizen

Our standard benefits include: Our standard benefits include 3 weeks of Paid time off (PTO that includes sick leave).
