Position:Exchange Engineer (US Citizenship with an active TOP SECRET clearance is a MUST)

Compensation: up to a max of $65/hr on w-2 (with no benefits and no 401k match) based on qualifications, certifications and experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Visual Soft is seeking an Exchange Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance and following experience:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013.
  • Perform data discovery and architecture/design for Exchange migration projects
  • Implement Exchange, perform Exchange migrations and troubleshoot existing installations
  • Integrate Exchange with load balancing, anti-spam and content filtering solutions
  • Working level knowledge of installing and configuring new VMs
  • Design and configure Microsoft Exchange infrastructure.
  • Maintain Exchange server build documentation.
  • Install and upgrade Microsoft Operating Systems (OS).
  • Install and upgrade Microsoft Exchange.
  • Assist with the design and placement of Exchange servers.
  • Design and configure Exchange database architecture.
  • Define, configure, and troubleshoot Exchange Administrative and Routing groups as well as SMTP Connectors.
  • Optimize OS to get maximum benefit of hardware.
  • Troubleshoot OS related issues.
  • Troubleshoot Exchange related issues when alerted by monitoring software.
  • Monitor and manage log files.
  • Monitor and manage disk space.
  • Ensure Exchange email infrastructure is available and processing E-mail.
  • Configure and implement backup solution for Exchange infrastructure.
  • Update existing documentation on how to recover from disk, memory, and system board hardware failures; and how to recover from OS and Exchange database software corruption.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and patches (bios, firmware upgrades, etc.).
  • Monitor and manage hardware health.
  • Optimize hardware to get maximum benefit of software.
  • Interface with the vendor technical support.
  • Update system and process documentation as needed.
  • Exchange Migration experience is highly preferred and desired.
Education Requirement:  BS degree is required  with 4-6 years of experience is also required
Clearance requirement:  an active TOP SECRET is a must

Employee's health and dental coverage becomes effective after 30 days or first of the month after an employee completes initial 30 working days, we cover 50% for the employee's health and dental insurances.  Dependents coverage for health and dental insurances is available as an out of pocket expense for employees. An employee has to finish all of your paper work for health and dental in the first 30 days of your employment with us. We provide STD, LTD and one time salary equivalent of life insurance at NO cost to all full time employees. All full time employees or w-2 employees with no benefits will be eligible to participate in company's 401k program after 90 days of employment with a company match of 4%, immediate vesting.  In addition,  all w-2 employees are eligible to be part of company's profit sharing, no employee contributions required.
