Experience:
Senior: 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
Mid-Level: 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience

Job Description
We are seeking Data Engineers (Senior and Mid-Level) to support secure, mission-critical data environments within a classified cloud infrastructure.
These roles are fully onsite in Huntsville, AL and require an active Top Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Hands on Agile environment experience
Responsible for utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights.
Less visualization and analytics, more sciences (modeling, programming)
Duties include finding and designing new approaches to handling,
analyzing, and using large volumes of data sets;
exploring fundamental issues with data handling, search, and retention;
solving complex data and storage issues;
designing new software coding to improve data search processes;
designing, testing and validating the quality of the data and data processes;
and analyzing and reporting results with actionable recommendations.

Desired qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ (Mid) or 8+ (Senior) years of experience in data engineering or database development.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Our standard benefits include: Our standard benefits include 3 weeks of Paid time off (PTO that includes sick leave).
